After graduation from MHS, I received a BS from UC Davis; then a DDS from UCSF School of Dentistry, where I became a Christian (which changed my life and life trajectory). I served three years as a Dental officer in the US Navy, at Subic Bay in the Philippines. I then attended seminary and graduated with an M.Div. degree. After a year of working at OHSU School of Dentistry and Damasch State Mental Hospital, I changed careers. I spent the next twenty-five years overseas teaching people about Christ. During that time I married Gwynn. I was 37 years old when I married . . . well worth the wait! We have seven amazing children, five boys and two girls.

I then followed my passion for Christ and the Bible by getting a Ph.D. in theology. We served overseas in one country with the organization that we have been a part of for over 25 years. I now serve around the world providing theological education and development for staff members and pastors. It is a dream job that I love. My wife has done an amazing job of home schooling our children and continues to make our house a home.

We live in Sandy, Oregon. My phone number is (503) 855-XXXX . I would love to hear from you. Blessings! Karl
